Introduction

VF Corporation outfits consumers around the world with its diverse portfolio of outdoor and activity-based lifestyle and workwear brands including VANS, Dickies, Timberland and The North Face to name but a few. Within the Westfield Mall of the Netherlands there was a requirement to “fit out” a new store for the brand The North Face

Challenge

The customer project manager required an integration partner that would deliver the full suite of in-store technology requirements. Key to the success of the project was identifying a partner that would take ownership of delivering all elements in a timely and collaborative manner. Having experience in delivering all stores in the UK since November 2023 PKS was the preferred choice.

Solution

PKS engineers travelled to the Netherlands fully equipped to mange the full scope of deliverables working in parallel with other onsite contractors. Installing all the “pre staged” back-office IT equipment, WiFi access points, applications, printers and EPoS systems. Taking ownership onsite to rectify cabling problems. Liaising with the remote retail support team to test and hand over the completed work package. Closing out with one-to-one familiarisation and training for the store manager
