Printer Repair ProcessUpon arrival at pks services each printer unit is inspected and logged on our Vantage Tracking System. Once the fault is identified the printer is then fully stripped down, and all worn and tired parts are replaced.
The pks services printer repair process has a number of key features: - NO FIX, NO FEE, fixed price printer repair right down to component level. Should any printer repair require any additional cost our customers are always notified by email or fax and we will only continue with their authorisation.
- Full preventative maintenance.
- Five day turnaround. This is our standard turnaround time for printer repairs, which can be altered to meet customers demands and priorities.
- Six months warranty on all printer repairs.
- Each repaired printer is fully tested in the environment in which it is ordinarily used, cleaned and cosmetically enhanced.
- Repaired printers are repacked and test prints enclosed. Printer units are shipped in plain brown packaging with reusable airfill inserts. There is a plain label on the outside of the box detailing model number, description and part number. We can add any additional documentation or labeling if you require it.
- We are able to ship repaired printer units direct to your customers or engineers on site should you wish.
If a printer is beyond economical repair, we will only continue the repair process with our customer's authorisation and if necessary do our best to work with the customer to find a suitable alternative. Read more about our Repair Services
