pks services are committed to conserving the environment by minimising the
impact of our activities, products and services. It is our intention to be recognised by
our customers, suppliers, the community and other stake holders as a responsible
company committed to continual improvement and the adoption of industry best practice
into all our environmental control systems.
Our goal is to reduce waste, emissions and discharges and use energy efficiently; we
recognise each one of us is responsible for conducting our daily business in a way
that allows us to achieve this goal. The following resource saving schemes are in
operation at pks services:
Hazardous waste including chemicals and detergents, are disposed of
in accordance with waste disposal legislation;
Gas, electricity and water supplies are metered and monitored to identify
leaks and possible over use;
New, energy-saving strip lighting and water heating systems are installed;
White paper, printer toner cartridges & printer parts are recycled;
Packaging is reused and recycled wherever applicable;
pks have a strong recycle policy for fusers, maintenance kits, parts and printers.
All units are fully stripped down, reworked, tested and given pks services 6 months
warranty seal.
Furthermore pks services Data Destruction Service has been developed specifically
for customers who wish to redeploy, recycle or resell their company’s IT assets.
pks ensure all aspects of your data are protected including electronic cleansing of hard
drives for pc and server reuse and full reset to default of data contained on
switches and routers.
pks services can combine unlocking the residual value in your equipment, without
putting your integrity at risk; with providing a strategic fit with your company’s green IT
and corporate social responsibility objectives.
